TAPROOM TAPESTRIES

Taproom Tapestries is a comic and narrative collective co-founded by myself  alongside a number of other creatives who primarily studied and graduated from the Authorial Practice Illustration course at Falmouth University. It has grown since then, hosting numerous creatives over the past year and is currently on its third volume.

The stories inside each volume focus on the weird and unexplainable, primarily looking at folklore and horror to tell stories through comics and artworks. In the first Volume my contribution was an essay on fairies featuring sculpture artworks which I later published separately as a guidebook. Volume two was a Cosmic horror comic set in the space race, and volume three, a ghost story set on Bodmin Moor inspired by the folklore of 'The Wild Hunt'.
