About
James Calderbank is a multidisciplinary illustrator and sculptor based in London. Having
graduated from Falmouth University in 2017 with an Illustration BA, he has since been working as a freelance illustrator, designer and graphic novelist.
Much of James’s work is inspired by his time residing in the rural southwest in Somerset and
Cornwall, with many pieces drawing from the coastline and countryside. In his current creative practice he has been working on a horror story titled 'The Thankful Village', which draws on inspiration from British folklore and historical research into British Witchcraft.
