From a young age, I built and painted model kits, starting with things like Airfix kits but eventually discovering the Warhammer hobby and being captivated by the fantasy and science fiction settings. I credit collecting and painting miniatures with where my true passion for art began, miniatures were my creative outlet and I sought out ways to incorporate them into my work once I decided this form of creativity could be appreciated as art. Making three-dimensional work is one of the ways I find I work best, using years of practice to kitbash, sculpt, and paint scale miniatures and set pieces. I also now incorporate laser cutting and casting into this medium and continue to seek out new ways to push my practice.
